Our Projects
YOU ARE INVITED TO THE LAUNCH!
The Madina Polyclinic, Kekele was established in 1974 as a maternal and child health (MCH). The unit has a long-standing commitment to providing essential healthcare services to mothers and children in the community.
Over decades, the facility has expanded its scope to become a polyclinic serving the densely and rapidly growing population of our catchment area.
After 52 years of functioning without surgical procedures, the establishment of a surgical theatre is a major breakthrough for the facility and the entire community. Furthermore, the La Nkwanta Madina Municipality lacks a public health facility with a surgical theatre. This new theatre will fill this critical gap and also increase access (geographic and financial) to the population. The burden on nearby hospitals outside this municipality will also be reduced.
The Australian Government, under the leadership of H.E Berenice Owen Jones as the High Commissioner, largely sponsored this fantastic project. We acknowledge the support from the MP for Madina, Hon. Dr Francis Xavier Sosu, The Ag Superintendent, Dr Emmanuel Addo Asante and his management team, and not forgetting the support from the Church of Later Day Saints on this milestone.
We invite you to join us celebrate this victory on Thursday, 5th March 2026. FREEDOM AID GHANA, Serving Health, Saving Lives!
